Welcome to the Region
Our Far Western family of sister friends is proud of our 91-year history. Our region has grown into nearly 100 graduate and undergraduate chapters spread across nine states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington. We are a sister network of unbelievably talented and caring women who routinely give of themselves and their resources in service to all mankind. Under the international leadership of our esteemed 28th President, Carolyn House Stewart, Esq., the Far Western Region is making great strides in the communities we serve while working assiduously to implement and support the Sorority's programs and international platform: Global Leadership through Timeless Service. My hope is that we embrace this site as a place to reconnect, communicate and educate each other, because knowledge is power. The power of AKA is alive and well and resides in each one of us as we focus on doing BIG things in this region.
